day 14

So this is the 2 week mark and I'm at 191 lbs and 20.4 body fat.  I started at 194.4 and 19.5%.  Not really the changes I was looking for.  I've been following the diet with almost no hicups along the way.  It's frustrating to me because I feel like if I ate like my usual ways with fruits and dairy and avoiding white carbs I'd be in the same situation.  Also the fat monitor is off by +1 or -1 depending on the day.  So its hard to know unless you chart it and if I do that then I see really haven't had any changes in body fat % which is the biggest seller of this tim ferris diet.  Right now i'm disappointed, I plan on measuring out my body to see if inches changed or not and maybe taking pics to compare to the "before" pics.

Supplements

So besides following the low carb diet, I've also taken the recommended doses of PAGG. I bought mine from amazon, it wasn't cheap for a months supply. The green tea extract was the most expensive at about 20 bucks for 25 day supply.

Day 8

Okay so today I threw up after eating my eggs this morning, strange but true.  Either way got chipotle for lunch and dinner was chicken and lentils, no problems after throwing up.

Day 7

Today it was back to eating healthy again, good break since I was tired from eating unhealthy the day before.

Weight: 195.4
Body Fat% 18.8

So gained about 4 lbs in one day of eating crappy, also body fat went down not sure if that really occured or not it seems the body fat flucuates around the same 2% since I started.

Cheat day

Okay so finally my first cheat day, in the morning i went with the protein shake and then headed to mcdonalds for 10:30 am fish filet and fries with a mcflurry.  For lunch I ended up getting nachos from moes filled with all kinds of goodies and finally dinner was icecream.  I didn't bother weighing or doing body fat today.

Day 5

The results are pretty much the same:

Finally seeing some results now.

Questioning how accurate the body fat analyzer is, it seems to just fluctuate randomly.

Day 2

Today I had the same breakfast as yesterday. A protein shake as soon as I wake up and then scrambled eggs with veggies and salsa. Lunch was the same also, chipotle salad with double meat and all salsas plus guacamole. For dinner I picked some rotes sire chicken from public and ate half of that plus some black beans. I also started the PAGG supplements today. I'll post separately about them later.

Body Fat %: 20.5

So weight went down but body fat went up. Not sure if it's related to me missing workouts this week or if the fat measurement tool is just inconsistent. Hopefully after a week's data I'll know more.

Day 1 measurements

I plan on measuring body weight and fat % every day and using the tape measurements once a week.  Here are the results after day one.  As expected no real change yet.

Day 1

Today was the first day I started the slow carb diet.  I had a pure protein shake for breakfast.  I like this one (link below) since it has very low carbs and has about 25-30 grams of protein.  This is the only way I can eat ASAP after waking up.  When I got to work I had egg beaters with spinach, mushrooms, scallions and salsa.  At lunch I went to chipotle and got a salad with beans, double meat (chicken and steak), tomato, corn, medium salsa, as well as guacamole.  For dinner I had about 1/2 pound of salmon and some frozen vegetables.  I drank 64 ounces of water during the day and also had 12 oz coke zero.  At night I used a icepack as the book suggested on the back of my neck for about 1/2 hour.  Here's the link to the icepack I bought as well as the protein powder:

Here are the measurements from before day one.  I've also included the bodyfat monitor and the measurement tape links on amazon.  I highly recommend measuring body weight, fat, and inches.  This way you get multiple variables to measure.
